Runnin Out Of Daylight Tour
October 12th through November 4th, 2018 Loud As Folk is proud to present the Runnin Out Of Daylight tour featuring Spike McGuire and Buffalo Moses. The tour will be making stops throughout California, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada.
Spike McGuire is an internationally touring songwriter from Reno, NV who spits out politically charged lyrics at a dizzying pace over hard-driving acoustic guitar. He is known for his work as founder of Loud As Folk, frontman of Six Mile Station, and an endorsed artist by GraphTech Guitar Labs.
Bryan Jones created Buffalo Moses as a dialed in representation of his musical talents after four albums with his Americana band Buster Blue (featured by Billboard and Daytrotter). Wailing on harmonica and finger-picking acoustic guitar he uses his lyrically driven songs to explore the depths of his vocal range.
From the stage to your speakers Loud As Folk is a multi-media showcase of songwriters dedicated to preserving/expanding the grand tradition of American roots music. LAF was founded in 2011 as a monthly showcase, expanded into a touring revue in 2014, and launched a recording studio in 2016.

Spike McGuire made his musical debut in 2008 at the Chicago Peace & Freedom Festival while living in the city to earn a theater degree from Columbia College. He has spent the decade since then drawing parallels between the ethos of punk rock and the spirit of folk music to build community and engage listeners with his message.
Career highlights include festival appearances at Lightning In A Bottle (Bradly, CA), Moon Runners (Chicago, IL), and Artown (Reno, NV), an artist endorsement from GraphTech Guitar Labs, and a 27 day/27 show international tour through France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Germany.
He doesn’t claim to have the answers, but he has dedicated himself to traveling the world, asking the questions, and starting the conversations. On the rich spectrum of folk music, Spike resides decidedly closer to Pete Seeger than Peter, Paul, and Mary.
The narrative storytelling in folk singer-songwriter Bryan Jones’ music brings to life an eclectic cast of characters only an inspired mind could conjure up. But Jones’ talent doesn’t end with the pen—his strong, bare vocal abilities are one to be reckoned with and have taken him across Europe and throughout the United Stats. Much like the early country legends, Jones’ would spill his blood if it gave life to a song.
Jones’ lyrically driven songs will reverberate in your head long after witnessing a Buffalo Moses performance, but it’s the echo of his honest spirit that will stick with you the longest. His songs are a direct reflection of his life, travels and dreams. An artist never truly sleeps.
No matter where, when, how or why you witness Buffalo Moses, he’ll be giving it his all, because a cowboy blasting off in a rocket ship has no limits.
